Guest guest
I never have Sue but let us know what you think when you find someone. My father recently died but he was an ADHD coach online. He would have done really well with anyone as he himself was very Aspie and also very kind and patient. Roxanna Whenever I feel blue, I start breathing again. ( ) Any used an ADD Coach? We are struggling so hard right now with DS, 26. His physician has recommended we try an ADD coach. Has anyone on the list ever used one or tried it? I think it would help ME more than anything, that's what I do everyday. Would have to find one that would work with someone with low IQ, he is not the CEO, achiever brain and one on a sliding fee scale. Guest guest
Thanks Roxanna. I will let the group know. Sounds like your father would have been great, kind and patient is perfect! I just really thought that things would start to get easier by this point, that he would have learned some coping skills. Unfortunately, he doesn't have the brilliant CEO hyperactive ADD. He is MR and ADD! so functioning a low level to begin with. We deal with the same issues over and over, til I just want to scream! Thanks, Sue > > I never have Sue but let us know what you think when you find someone. My father recently died but he was an ADHD coach online. Guest guest
What does an ADHD coach do? Do they work with adults? Guest guest
Sue does he actually have an MR dx, or were you just comparing CEO vs MR, sort of tongue-in-cheek? Asking about the MR dx because I wanted to know if he is getting any services from a program for those with MR? Each state usually has some type of program for those with a developmental disability/MR diagnosis. > > Thanks Roxanna. I will let the group know.
