Guest guest
Hi- my son is compulsive about his hair also. He does not wash it until we make him, but he will not cut it, and he plays with it in the mirror all night and when he walk around he is always puting his hands through it to make sure it is the way he wants it. He does this ALL day. Guest guest
I think the hair thing is very AS. My 18 year old son dyes his hair black and has it cut "emo scene" which means he straightens his hair into his face and over his eyes every morning, and runs his hands thru it all day long. He even checks it in every window he passes by. Nick flunked out of community college, and has his first job at Vons as a bagger. I'm amazed they let him keep his hair in his face! He has held the job for 2 months, and just got promoted to the bakery for 40 hours a week. there is hope yet! in San Diego From: <denise092769@...>Subject: ( ) complusive about hair Date: Thursday, March 31, 2011, 2:30 AM my jd is 15 he very complusive about his hair. he waste a lot time onit in the morning where it makes him late for the bus for school.he evenrinses out the gel and hairspray out when he comes home from school andbefore bedtime rinses it out again.I know it's probably ocd . but, iknow he a teenager but he constanly doing his hair even in morning hewill keep redoing his hair man i hope this just a phrase
Guest guest
My daughter is the opposite. She never looks in the mirror to see how she looks before school. I always do her hair for her and she never looks to see how I did it. I've told her time and time again that she should check her hair and face before leaving, but she still won't do it. If I didn't do her hair, she'd be a mess. ~ In a message dated 3/31/2011 3:20:12 P.M. Eastern Daylight Time, joaninnova@... writes: We have that too with my Aspie daughter.
