Guest guest
I'm sure this has been discussed on this list before but I can't find the answer. I fed my 1-year-old beet greens cooked in bacon fat and chicken stock yesterday... and I also fed her some raw tomatoes. This morning in her diaper there were undigested beet greens and tomato pieces. Is this normal for a 1-year-old (since they can't chew)? Or should it be more digested? The stool was also not formed -- just diarrhea with the pieces of beet greens and tomatoes. She normally has formed stools. She has intermittent diarrhea -- not often but here and there. Is it because she couldn't digest these things (she has not had the raw tomatoes before -- she has had beet greens)? She is on Biokult (1 per day -- for a few weeks, maybe a month now) so that could be why she is still having some diarrhea -- still building the good bacteria population and still detoxing. What do you guys think? Thanks - this is a question I can't ask of most people. :-) Ann Marie
Guest guest
Ann Marie, I don't know about beet greens, but my colon hydrotherapist is not a big fan of tomatoes. She said she sees at least the skins undigested in nearly everyone. Kathy
Guest guest
Tomatoes are something my little ones can't handle anyway because of the acidity. They give the babies diaper rash and loose stools.MaureenAnn Marie,I don't know about beet greens, but my colon hydrotherapist is not abig fan of tomatoes.
