Time limit on IEE requests?

Is there a time limit on asking for an IEE? My daughter DID have an OT

eval (duh) but it was 2 years ago. Her OT was stopped. I was unable to

advocate for her at the time and her needs weren't as noticeable in

the preschool setting. This was when she was under CPSE, not CSE. Does

that matter? Can the school still say they didn't do an evaluation

even though she was 'under' this school district at the time of the OT

eval?

Thanks!

I'm not sure on the time limit. I haven't read anything in my own research that addresses this. But if they do recognize it you can ask that the district re-evaluate her. If they still say no, then you still can say you disagree. You can argue that she is older now and her issues have not gone away or have gotten worse etc. You did say you had a note from her dr? I would maybe list what her issues are and how OT can address these and present them with this along with whatever dr notes you have. Not sure if this help, just some quick thoughts. ne
