Guest guest
Go see the doc. It could be a problem with OCD or a tic. Or it could be allergies and her way of dealing with a feeling in her throat. You should figure out why and then you can try to fix it with the right tools. Roxanna May those who love us, love us And those who don't love us, May God turn their hearts And if he can't turn their hearts, May he turn their ankles So we will know them by their limping! ( ) Pattern/Coughing My 11 yr old dd has a cough, the pattern has ALWAYS been that when she gets this cough, which comes with runny nose ,minus a fever, lack of appetite, or lack of energy, she coughs every few seconds,,none stop until you want to scream STOP!!!! I spent yesterday with head phones on and music turned up really loud to drown her out just so I wouldn't loose it. Last night, for about 20 minutes she literally was standing in the bathroom looking at herself in the mirror coughing. My dh finally said "enough" and she stopped. Then she went to the other extreme which was hold in any cough, which makes her gag and throw up in her mouth,,which ultimately comes out on clothes, blankets etc.... How do I stop this? Do I stop this? I was suppose to go with other dd and hubby to a college tour and A was going to my parents, which she absolutely loves to do, but I can't ask my parents to handle this. grrrrr Lynne Banks SD Rep. www.americanadoptioncongress.org
