Guest guest
I asked my husband last night if he done the same thing, he was on the floor laughing! Think I might make an effort to keep my kit on! lol Yes I wash my hands after putting the rubbish out as well, I must be a complete fruit loop. From: jm.smoldt <jm.smoldt (DOT) com>Subject: ( ) Re: toilet flushing Date: Sunday, January 24, 2010, 11:11 PM My son also dislikes the sound and used to refuse to flush. Now he is usually fine at home but wont flush in public and refuses to go in automatic toilets. My husband accompanies him to the bathroom and flushes after my son clears the stall. He is only six now, but hopefully he learns to cope as he gets older.>> never flushes. His dad is very stressed by this. Clashing anxiety/asperger/ add whatever traits. It's driving me insane. I say just flush the damn toilet if someone forgot. It won't KILL you. Instead I have to hear about it all the time. Guest guest
My 8 year old dd is scared to flush toilets. She hates the loud sound it makes and will run out of the bathroom if she is forced to flush it. Usually she just leaves it... grrr... Guest guest
Yes, my, now 13 year old, had the same fear. She still walks quickly after the flush, but she will flush. mel
Guest guest
My daughter, Rayleigh, who is 9 and does not have a dx of asperger syndrome, is bothered by the sound of flushing toilets. She used to scream. Now she sometimes still holds her ears in public bathrooms. She isn't bothered by the toilet at home because she knows what to expect and it isn't very loud. > > Yes, my, now 13 year old, had the same fear. Guest guest
My ds also had dribbles down his shirt or pants after using the bathroom. Apparently, my dh had to teach him how to " shake it off " and this was all it took to prevent the problem. lol.
