Guest guest
Hello All My 13 month old and I are going to be doing the GAPS intro soon and I was hoping I could find some insight from you all about egg yokes. After a week on the intro, what if my daughter still can't tolerate one egg yoke? Do we continue on the intro until she can? I thought it is was interesting what just posted about Dr.NCM's comments on kefir and yogurt. I find it is interesting that there are die off reactions when these are added so it is important to start off with tiny amounts and build up slowly. I wonder if I could do the same with the egg yoke, maybe giving her just a tiny bit and build up. I'm just curious what others do if their child reacts to anything new after a week on the intro....do they just keep waiting until the gut has healed more? I have read of one lady who was only able to eat chicken soup for several months before adding something new...but I've also read that it is important to NOT do the intro for very long. Any thoughts? ps....Thanks for the kefir/yogurt qoute ! Vick Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile. Try it now.
