Guest guest
My son and I are on our second copy of this book (we wore out the first) and Xander has it memorized, but we were very disappointed in the movie. It was very frenetic and had disturbing elements not apparent in the book itself. I could always see my son in the main character, Max, in fact, I always called him my King of the Wild Things. We have gone back to the book, we often find they are better than when a translation to the big screen is attempted. Donna
Guest guest
Dear Ms. : The movie and the book that the movies are frequently very different. There is nothing new here. I have not got around to seeing the Movie Version of 'Where The Wild Things Are". It is a shame that these movies are not able to be prescreened by the parents, before the Parents and Children end up getting a bad experience and paying up wards of $40 in LA/NYNY for example.
