Do you have a teenager?

I have a 17 1/2 yr old and Love Actually is not necessarily something she would

watch but these days -- that's mild.

Love Actually and didn't totally FREAK OUT. OMG. Watch the movie some time if

you've never seen it. It has some lovely, wonderful, cute moments but one of

the couples in it work in porn. It's kind of like they're stand-ins to pose and

help with stuff like lighting and setting up shots when the actual " actors "

aren't there. Not sure if that makes sense. Anyway, it's quite obvious what

these people DO even though there isn't any nudity or sex at all but it still

just seems like something I would NEVER want my teenagers to watch!

I kind of forgot how old Haddie was supposed to be. When I was that age my mom

certainly didn't want me to see things like that and had rules about what movies

I could see with any boys. My mom didn't want me to see the movie 10 because

she thought it was about a guy going around having sex with women and then

rating them on a ten point scale. Which, of course, it isn't!

I have a 13 year old and a 10 year old and my own personal opinion is that they

almost certainly see worse stuff when dad sits down with them to watch FAMILY

GUY as a thing to do with the kids. Yeah I know, I gave up that battle ages

ago. But considering how the dad gets so distressed about Haddie having a

boyfriend at all I'm wondering if he'd be a little weirded out at any reference

to porn movies his daughter might watch with a boyfriend.

Having said that, I forgot Haddie was 17. I remember 17. I'd have watched what

I wanted but probably not at my parents' house.
