Guest guest
Hi, I received another letter......very similar to the other one I received a week or so ago. She is looking for guidance. Please do not mind the caps. I don't think they are aware of what caps means. Thanks. I WISH SHE COULD JUST UNDERSTAND THAT THINGS HAPPEN. >> I felt sad at first and cried most of the time for the first 2 months. It just took some getting used to. From then on...(don't get me wrong...there were many difficult times) but I actually started feeling very *special*. I know... the word special. But I feel like I am privy to so much more than had I not been honored with my son, Ted in my life. I am lucky. Also, Down syndrome is just one of those things. Nothing that your SIL did or didn't do, could affect the outcome. Good luck, I hope we hear more how your nephew is doing. Gail- mom to the BEST kid ever! Guest guest
Cindi, for what it's worth, I have a friend whose granddaughter would regurge her formula too. Her mother tried to breast feed and changed formula until I think she had tried everything on the market. The doctor finally treated her with Retlain and she got okay. I never did learn if they actually had a diagnosis. This child is now I think 6 years old and has had no problems since. Let's pray your nephew's problem will be that easily taken care of.
