Guest guest
Dear Listmates, Apologies for the cross-post. I am writing to tell you about the release of my new book, A Compromised Generation: The Epidemic of Chronic Illness in America's Children (Sentient Publications, 2010). This book chronicles the epidemics of autism, ADHD, allergies, asthma, diabetes, and other chronic illnesses among our most vulnerable citizens, our children. Thoroughly grounded in the medical literature and interviews with medical experts, A Compromised Generation provides clear and concrete evidence of the environmental factors that have led to the epidemic of autism and other chronic illnesses. I have been a member of this and many other listservs in the autism community for several years now and have listened intently to each and every one of you. Your comments, insight and wisdom were an integral part of my research. Two years ago, when I set out to understand why we are experiencing an epidemic of chronic illnesses among children (why is there so much autism!?) I found that listening to the parents was one of the most valuable resources available. You all left the breadcrumb trail that led me to answers concerning the environmental factors responsible for this epidemic. I myself have two children that have recovered from chronic illnesses and I am also the Executive Director of a 501c3 non-profit organization called Parents Ending America's Childhood Epidemic (PEACE). Our organization is dedicated to educating parents about this epidemic and helping parents to find solutions to heal their children. If you are interested in learning more about the book, you may visit www.acompromisedgeneration.com. The book is now available from Sentient Publications www.sentientpublications.com or you may find it at most major retailers (Amazon, and Noble or Borders). And if you are interested in learning more about our organization, please visit our website Epidemic Answers at www.epidemicanswers.org. We are a parent-run volunteer organization and we are always looking for more help, guidance and support. Please consider joining our team. Thank you for sharing your wisdom and knowledge. Please feel free to contact me at any time, beth@... or beth@....
