Guest guest
I hope someone else weighs in on this. For me the ghee would be an issue. The smallest amount of casein/dairy cases inflammation and mucus for me. I use olive oil instead of ghee with no problem. Olive oil and lemon juice on vegetables. If you have extreme leaky gut, the nuts may be too much insoluable fiber at this point. More greens. Look into Intesti-new or GI Revive...there are other companies who have intestinal rebuilders as well.A naturopath is your best bet....www.naturopathic.orgJoanI started GAPS a few weeks ago because I struggle with IBS, joint pain, and a bladder disease. I am having such a hard time understanding when to move stages. I seem to be stuck on stage 2 of intro. I have tried ALL nut butters and sunflower seeds and every single one of them causes my nose to become stuffy as soon as I ingest it. Does this mean I am intolerant? Does this mean I am not ready for the food? It does not change my stool, but the stuffy nose is a huge sign my body is reacting. Thanks all! Guest guest
Thank you, I follow the gaps diet protocaol, and I am seeing Dr. Cowan, but I only talk to him once a month.. I know how you feel with the Ghee, I am never sure if its causing me symptoms or not, now the broth is making me nauseous. > > > I hope someone else weighs in on this.
