If just for nuts - I have a hand blender with an attachment on the end for nuts. I have only used it a fe times, so can't say if it would burn out after daily use or whatever. It is a great appliance though as the immersion blender is great for soups- which I make quite often. I think I paid 40 for it at SAMs club if you all have an equivelent. I can't remember the brankd - maybe kitchen aid or something like that .... They even sell little hand nut choppers too and they are inexpemsive. Is a round container with a blade that you push with palm of hand- quite easy for small batches. If you are talking grinder ti make a flour then food processor or they have electric nut grinders. Unthinkable it us called jupiter brand out of Germany is supposed to be best but pricy ....Sent from my iPhoneOn Feb 18, 2010, at 10:06 AM, "a" <paulaaitken@...> wrote:

Does anyone know where I can purchase a nut grinder in the uk. I want to make some of the muffins and other recipes with other nuts then almonds wich you can buy already grinded. I had a martin coffee grinder wich the motor burnt out after a few times of grinding the nuts and I bought a hand grinder and would take an hour just to grind a 100g bag hazel nuts I am in the uk. Maybe a food processor grinds nuts or do they just chop nuts
