LOL What hotel are you staying at on Wednesday night? I am driving to SD and staying overnight wednesday night also. I was in Florida last summer. I took my sister on a Carribean Cruise I was in Miami and I thought we here in California had some Humid nights! The humidity was so bad! No need to bother doing my hair!! Tammy I. I am driving in on the 26th and being picked up by Ernesto on the 27th 8AM with you and my surgery is actually scheduled for the 28th. Well I emailed Rubin over the weekend to tell him that if Dr. A doesnt have a full surgery schedule on the 27th that they could move me up to the 27th since I am going to be there anyways. It really doesnt matter to me. So Rubin said he would check for me and let me know today sometime. I am flexible with my days. Her social skills are so bad,but she has made a friend. My neighbor has a 4 year old granddaughter, my daughter likes her and plays with her,to some extent. (It's a start). The 4 year old is potty trained,her grandmother asked me what if I give you our potty chair we no longer need it,perhaps your daughter would use the potty. I thought it was worth a try. My daughter was curious and went up several times and looked at it,and finally she did go pee!! She sat backwards on the potty but at least it's a start. This is the very first interest she has given at all. We might not be consistant but it's a start,it gives me hope that it will happen. It's the small things like this that are huge to me. I love the little cute things they do like sitting backwards on the potty. I can imagine myself at that age. First being confused about this new thing. Then wondering if I could use it. And then, " Who *knew* that if I sat the other way around there would be a place for my legs and it would be more comfortable " ;-) Yet one possible fear is that it might do something while I'm turning my back to it to sit down, and I can't see while I'm doing it.
