Guest guest
Yes, here too for the bad mornings, and nights too now that I think about it! It is the transitioning from day clothes to pajama's and vice versa. He hates to have to brush his teeth and we have to floss them for him per the dentist. I have a hard time physically managing him anymore (he will turn 6 on Nov 10) and man is he strong. My husband usually takes the brunt of the mornings because he works part time and is charge of getting both the kids on the bus, etc throughout the day. Sad but true they both ride the speicial needs bus to school together now and then Blaise has been riding home with his peers in Kindergarten. He got in trouble on the bus four times now. It is exhausting and the interventions that we know from our daughter's ABA therapists and other tactics don't work on him. It is certainly one day at a time, and sometimes one hour at a time! I think he will grow to be more cooperative but there has to be a reason for it- reward or something as a result of behaving, going along with the class and his sister, and peers. I'm feeling your pain! Patty and I have Sheridon 7 RTS and Blaise 5 SPITFIRE ASD
