Guest guest
We're going through the very same thing this year with our grandson. He never brought home the teacher conference note or his report card. Three days after report cards came out my husband and I went to the school and asked for a meeting. They actually met with us that day. Unfortunately for us, the school really has no interest in doing anything to help us or our grandson. We recently found out about a program here in TN called STEP. Tomorrow I'm making the call to them. I've been told that as soon as the school hears that STEP is involved that they're going to do whatever they can to accommodate us but its too late. Dillon has already fallen between the cracks. He throws his papers away. He's failing nearly everything. We spend nearly 3 hours a night helping him and he's getting almost no help in school. I've had it. Now I'm calling in the big guns. Maybe once Dillon sees we're serious and the school has no choice, maybe he'll straighten out too. Good luck to you!
