Guest guest
Has any of you experienced rocking and or side to side swaying with your children. If yes, did the OT help in teaching the kids different soothing/comforting methods? Did your child stop rocking/swaying and at what age or does he/she still do it? What made the difference? Thank you in advance for sharing, Aida
Guest guest
My nine year old aspie has an exercise ball that we keep in the tv room. He can hardly sit still on the sofa to watch television or a movie. So he rolls around on it, sits on it and bounces and lays on it rocking back and forth. He finds this very soothing. If he doesn't see it, he'll ask, " Where's my ball? " Hope that is helpful. Jolene > > Has any of you experienced rocking and or side to side swaying with your children.
