Guest guest
Dear ,Back in the 80’s my friends attached a clear plastic casing/hose to their faucet so that water came gently out of the end of the hose and the child could control it.Today, perhaps one of those hand held shower detachments might work, but the mom insisted that her daughter did not tolerate the shower head effect, she could tolerate the slow steady stream and would stand in the shower, drop the hose, soap a bit, and then drip the water on the one spot, repeat. Hope this helps.E.C. Bernard My 7 year old son has HFA and hates showers. He really hates them because they are slimy (soap/shampoo). It is sensory. He is actually helping me write this email as we look for a solution. Of course he will not read the responses. Does anyone have any ideas to make showers/baths easier and less of a fight? Right now he does get to choose which one he takes.Thank you!
