You'd be surprised what they learn from watching and trying. My son watched the videos of people playing Nintendo constantly. He started attempting to make his own as he watched some how to video's. They helped alot. He got frustrated along the way, and sometimes he just stopped and went back to watching the video's. He got obsessive about it and he can do it now. It in no way happened overnight and was a lot of 3 steps forward two steps back kinda thing. Hang in there, ya never know.

I've cosidered this, but my son is 12 and the TOS require that he be 13. He is allowed to use my facebook to chat with friends although in reality that would require him having friends. He can't wait till he is 13.

i have a 12 year old son that has aspergers.he loves watching video game stuff on youtube.he enjoys playing on the computer,on facebook,nintendo ds,the wii,playstation etc.my son is interested in being buddies/friends with other kids.he has his own facebook(altho i set it up for him and i have his password) so i can monitor it.please feel free to contact me for the info.thanks.Christie Speckel

Both of my kids have facebook accounts under fake names (and birthdays) so they can play games. They can also talk to their grandparents and close family. I figured this was a good solution since they always were bothering me to play on my account, lol.

If you get a facebook account for your son, let me know his user name.

I have set my son up an account. Basically I set up an account using my email

and birthday with his name. He can message family and friends under my

supervision. If anyone has younger children that are interested in interacting

with him, you can search my email which is xmom1011x@...

thats what i also did.my son is 12 i also have a 6 year old son that has adhd.my 12 year old is the one that has aspergers;the email for his is vikingfan27@... .....my 6 year old can use my personal facebook to chat can seach for packerpenguin@... .both of my sons also have a clubpenguin account.y oldest has a runescape,wizard101 etc so just contact me personally and we can exchange info.Christie Speckel
