Guest guest
It was a severe migrane with vertigo symptoms and I am fine.CAthyFrom: Pamela <susanonderko@...>Subject: ( ) Re: I would love some help. Date: Wednesday, June 23, 2010, 8:42 AM First lets look at this like a learning disorder. With math problems if my daughter does not know a calculation the special ed teacher lets her type it in on the calculator and she remains very regulated. Her recall of math facts is very poor but surprisingly she scores well on concepts. Can he read well and recognize words? If so then the issue may be with working memory of new words. Many AS kids have a great memory of facts does he? With these kind of behavior issues a very structured predictable setting helps. You may rehearse how to handle difficulties and reduce stress so he can cope better. When too much is going on my daughter hs outburts frequently, when I scale back the pace of the day she is so pleasant. Pam > > Hello everyone! > > I am new to the group. Guest guest
Oh thank goodness - not that you had the migraine but that it was nothing worse - I worry so much about my son with migraines my sisters and my mom used to get them I think does as well but can't get hubby to agree on that. He will learn that mama always knows best. SharonAutism is not a burden it's a God given blessing.
