Guest guest
We used inositol powder for my son's OCD. I've read that choline helps to take with it, but we just used inositol. The dosage is really just what works for your child. Two children same age or weight could take different dosages. My son's OCD was severe, he needed 13-14 grams; however, some children found help with just, say, 6 grams. It's a hit/miss type thing, it may help, may not. Just start low on it, go slow up on dosage, as it can cause upset stomach. (we had no problem that way) If your child is on any medication that works on serotonin, then you'd just use it as sort of a " booster " to the prescription medication, wouldn't use much. Hope this helps a little, > > Has anyone had success using inositol and choline for thier aspies? > In doing some research it seems to be helpful although there are discrepencies as to the dose and frequency. I was hoping I might find some answers from some parents that give his to their chidren. > > Thank you > W >
