Guest guest
You don't have to eat just soups as long as your meat and veggies are boiled. So you could have boiled chicken with boiled broccoli with a cup of stock to drink with it. This helped us as we were VERY hungry due to die off on the first stages of the into. Also, as soon as an diarrhea clears up...move on. Don't spend too much time on the very early stages. Drink lots of stock in mugs. Meat balls were a great snack. Roll ground meat into 3mm balls and boil in about an inch of water. Keep boiling until the water lessens to a thicker sauce. Boil veggies in the stock if you start to have a hard time drinking it. You can also do ginger or mint tea which helps when hungry. Hope that helps. Get plenty of rest. Guest guest
Thanks for your input, and Kim. I feel very proud that we all made it through our first day of the Intro Diet! Re knowing when to move from one stage to the next...None of us have any obvious bowel problems to gauge changes with. We are doing it more for behavioral stuff, and other health issues. It seems obvious when suffering from bowel problems, as to when to move onto the next stage. We are wanting to push on simply because it really isn't that easy (on stage 1 at least!) It is an exciting and interesting journey, for sure! > > > > Hi everyone. > > > > I am so grateful to have found this forum. My whole family are starting on the GAPS diet - tomorrow!
