Guest guest
Hello, I'm new to this group and to the diet. I am a patient of Dr. Cowan's and he is having me do the diet to hopefully help my arthritis. I have what we THINK is rheumatoid arthritis even though I don't test positive for it. Anyway, does it sound right to everyone that the GAPS diet would help arthritis? I have not gotten the book in the mail yet, although I have ordered it, but from what I have read, isn't it mostly for kids and for psychological disorders? What do you all think? Dr. Cowan says that if we heal my gut, then hopefully it will help the arthritis. My other question is can we eat dates? Or chocolate powder? If we can, then it means we can have Larabars, which would make the diet much easier for me, then I will always be able to have a quick snack on the run when I need it. Thanks in advance, glad I found this group! Sara
