Guest guest
I was dismayed to find out yesterday that my oldest son, almost 8, has three cavities, two of which are in his permanent 6-year molars. He was fine 6 months ago at the last dental check-up, so it's really disappointing. Anyway, I got some Xylitol gum today at Whole Foods, having read about that being a really good dental health thing, but the ingredients are (besides the Xylitol): gum base (whatever that is), natural flavor (spearmint oil), vegetable glycerin, gum arabic (whatever that is), soy lethicin (yuck), and beeswax. Does anyone have thoughts about how much of gum one actually absorbs when chewing? Some of these ingredients are obviously SCD/GAPS illegal, and I wish I could find a Xylitol product that didn't have those things, but in the meantime I'd like to try to help his teeth. Thanks for any thoughts,
