Guest guest
Hello Well there are a couple of things to consider. First the serving size of Trienza is 2 capsules. So you can instantly cut the active units in half. So if it says that there 12,000 DU of Amylase then it's 6,000 per capsule versus Digest Gold's 23,000 DU per capsule. You can do that for each like ingredient. Protease has 45,000 HUT per capsule versus Digest Gold's 80,000 per capsule. Another important factor about all of Enzymedica's products, what really makes Enzymedica's products different, is that Enzymedica uses an exclusive Thera-Blend™ process for its protease, lipase, amylase and cellulase. This means that each of these enzymes actually represents multiple blends. For example, there are actually three proteases in the Thera-Blend™ protease. They are blended for their ability to break down numerous bonds of protein in varying pH's. Enzymedica does this at a considerable expense. From a label description Enzymedica also SACRIFICES ACTIVE UNITS to provide the best blend possible. A single protease, for example, could produce more active units per milligram than a multiple protease blend, however the active pH would be narrow and the number of protein bonds it could break would be limited to one or two per molecule. DigestGold does not contain DPP-IV activity. We have a product called GlutenEase specifically for that. GlutenEase has DPP IV Protease Thera-blend- 90,000. I also have a side by side comparison of the ingredients in the two products. If you would like me to email you that, send me your email address. I hope this information was helpful. Please feel free to ask me any questions. Alessandra Enzymedica's Education Department enzymedica.com > > I am trying to decide which one I should buy.
