Guest guest
Our son has been dx'd with high anxiety, the assessment did not indicate aspergers although he certainly has some characteristics when it comes to the social skills. Right now I am struggling with the school recognizing the anxiety behind the behavior and feeling so defeated. I just wanted to comment that I sure do understand your message Pamela, and it is somewhat relieving to read other parents have the same issues. We are contemplating our next step, what was it that finally got you to the point to transfer schools? , BC Canada son dx'd with high anxiety > > Your school sounds very supportive. That is great. They would not accept anxiety as a condition. As far as they were concerned it was a behavior problem to be punished harshly. > > I am so happy that some schools are open to providing the servcies > necessary. > > Pam
