Hang in there, keep your sense of humor! And keep in mind that dealing

with Asperger's is a marathon, not a sprint. So pace yourself, pick your

battles, and get good people on your side!

Hi Keryn, even when you suspect it, it still seems to make a difference getting

the *actual* diagnosis.

Here's one of my fav websites with info:

http://www.aspergersyndrome.org/

You might look at your state Autism Society website too. I know our's had a

list of parent contacts/advocates for different regions that can help guide you,

connect you to resources, help with school IEP info, etc.

You won't be lost long!

Hi all,

not really sure what im expecting from posting but hopefully some parents who feel the same and have some wisdom they want to share will make this alot easier. My son was dianosed with Aspergers today hes 8, although im confident the diagnosis is correct I now have the task to find out all I can to try and understand this as at the moment it all seams like another world, any good books or websits anyone knows of will be very welcome!
