Guest guest
Hello everybody, Im looking for some tips...my 3yr old son is going in this week for his pre-school evaluation. He will be tested (I don't know how), to see if he qualifies for the Early Childhood Classes, which are geared towards special needs children, or if he would be placed in the "regular" Pre-School Class. My son has Aspergers and does not have any social skills with children his own age...he becomes very anxious and spins. I really want him to get into the special needs program. Is there anything I can do to ensure this? If for any reason he does so well on his tests that he qualifies for the regular classroom, can I refuse that & request the other? Any insight would be appreciated. I live in Illinois, Winnebago County, Rockton SD. Thank you All!
