That's great that you're arming him with the "list of points"....

I'd also schedule a meeting time after school, perhaps, that you could go in and make sure it was all covered. he he. Honeslty, though.

Maybe like an IEP mtg. Just where whoever you WOULD have chatted with, would be there and you could ensure that your views got across them all.

Due to work commitments my husband has to go to parents evening alone tonight. He is quiet and shy, usually its me who asks all the questions etc. Our son has 3 main issues with the school:

Being bullied

Being asked for homework to be handed in when they didn't send any home

Inflexibility, i.e. my son done homework in a red pen, they wanted it redone in pencil, my son can't skip, believe me we have tried, so they are doing a sponsered skip, they say my son either skips or doesn't join in, they won't provide an alternative activity.

So in a couple of hours my husband, armed with a list of points, is off to the school. To fight his corner. I'll let you know how it goes.
