, where in upstate NY? I am outside Albany From: blainejennifer@...Date: Wed, 17 Mar 2010 10:47:48 -0700Subject: ( ) Shout Out to

,Just wanted you to know that I really enjoy your views. Even though there has been some conflict of opinions recently (Hey, Aspies holding strong opinions? Shocking, right?), I'm hoping you keep contributing to this forum. For the record, I think that Asperger's contributes to my son's unique world view. He's so honest and logical - it's refreshing. Now, granted, we have had our rant-a-thons. He's only 10, and has some oversensitivies to address in his public behaviors. Umm, if you are in upstate New York, and hear a young, loud voice in a buffet restaurant instructing patrons on proper serving spoon placement (cross contamination!), it might not be a restaurant employee, it could be . . . The Fulminator, aka my cool son. What I've realized is that parenting is not easy. The

notion solidified during the "Parenthood" thread. Helping the AS son is presented as difficult, but the other NT kids are also challenging. Parenting is Challenging. So, when I'm fixing to throw a pity party (Yes, I am from Texas - thanks for asking), I remember that nothing in life worth doing comes easy.Keep me/us posted. I am very interested in your experiences. R.
