It might be the vyvanse. How long has he been on it and how high is his dose? This medication made my son more grouchy, angry and mouthy. We only had him on it a month and took him off. Aspie kids usually don't do well on stimulant meds that are normally prescribed for ADHD symptoms. ne

My son has been on a 2mg dose of intuniv for over a year. When he first started taking it - we thought we could see a noticeable difference in his overall behavior. Lately, though, we see more frustration, tantrums, etc.I'm wondering if we should try a higher dose? My son is 9 1/2 and chubby - over 100lbs. He also takes 20mg Vyvanse on school days. Thanks in advance for your thoughts...

Actually - I had taken him off the vyvanse for a couple of months and he had a

lot of trouble in school so we just this week put him back on it..

He takes 20mg vyvanse in the morning... And 2mg intuniv in the morning.
