KVUE's Molly reports on the Dripping Springs mold problem Play Clip The first of the mold problems surfaced in November. The discovery meant students and teachers got an unexpected 9-day vacation as the district worked to clean the mold. Initially, the school district thought the problem could be fixed quickly. Later tests showed the problem was worse than they first thought and a decision was made to put students in portables until the permanent facility was cleaned. The temporary classrooms will be used at least through the end of the school year.
