At my house, several supplements *caused* aggression until precursers were added. Yeast overgrowth and/or bad bacteria overgrowth can cause aggression. Guest guest
Not sure if this is how I post my question, but here goes. My 2 yr old has had food sensitivity issues for about a year now. We thought it was a phenol problem or possibly sulfation issue. He has been on Houston TriEnza, ZymePrime and No Fenol for about 2 months now. Epsom salts baths help with sleeping some nights but not always. He did see improvement with issues when starting the enzymes that seemed miraculous at first, then he started getting wild and aggressive. We pulled him off all his supplements which were mostly Animal Parade products and kept him off those for probably a month, even pulled him off the fish oil because we were afraid it was that. He seemed to improve right after we pulled him off the supplements but then started to get way aggressive again--and moody--and he has no tolerance for frustration and a short short attention span. We put him back on fish oil (and he's on Culturelle) and had 2 days that were great, but really aggressive again. I am wondering if he has a bacteria problem. I 've read several people say that aggression may mean bacterial issues. Is that really common or sometimes can be bacteria, sometimes yeast? When I just tried probiotics earlier they didn't seem to help at all (wasn't Culturelle before). Or is this agression die off from yeast? If it is bacteria, what should I do? Continue enzymes and Culturelle and add what to treat the bacteria (systemic enzymes) or garlic or something? And how much/how often? Sorry to be so long winded but getting very confused. Thanks V

Bad bacteria issues can cause aggression. My son was terribly aggressive with fish oil or in fact any fats [even foods] until I gave him mito cocktail. I wrote about it here http://www.danasview.net/mar05.htm Yeast overgrowth can also cause this. > If it is bacteria, what should I do? Try OLE and Culturelle. Maybe OoO also.
