Hello everyone,

I have a 13yr old son, , with Aspergers and ADHD. Life by all means up until now has been far from easy, but recently has been getting increasingly depressed. His meldowns are becoming more frequent and intense. He says things like "I wish God would just end my life now", "I'm tired of being different" and worse. He is on anti-depressant medication and goes to therapy. But he has very few friends and the ones he has aren't really "good" friends. The stress of Middle School and being a teenager has really exacerbated his difficulies with his Aspergers. Has anyone dealth with this? ~ne

Not sure but I don't thinks so. He's been on the same meds for a while. How do you get your child to socialize and make friends when he doesn't know how. I've bought books for him and they've helped. But his rudeness turns people off. ~ne

well he my boyfriend son but hasnt seen in mom since he was small so im closest thing to a mom. he wants friends i bring him to my friends house she has 2 girls love going there. my jason is 14 try play dates
