Thanks - we have had him tested for OCD and ADHD and schizophrenia, and other

disorders by a Ph.D. neuro-psychologist, and nothing specific showed up that

could be classified, but I was unsure about Aspergers being included. As I read

so many of your posts I hear that indecision is a part of this and with our son

it is about not getting the right answer so no answer is better for him...as you

said...maybe it is perfectioning...thanks again I guess we are just at a loss

to know where to go next.

testing for this? We have him seeing a psychologist and a psychiatrist is

prescribing meds for anxiety and depression but there doies not seem to be any

talk of testing...

There is a "Test of Problem Solving" that we had done a few times with my now 21 yo when he was in school. He did poorly on that. Seems like this is also related to "multiple choice" as well. Sometimes I even get confused with multiple choice because they will ask for the "best" answer and it is not always obvious if several answers are correct.

WOW - my son is 22 and he does this with so many things including answering interview questions - he cannot choose an answer because he sees all the possibilities and cannot be sure which is right! I have a question...who does testing for this? We have him seeing a psychologist and a psychiatrist is prescribing meds for anxiety and depression but there doies not seem to be any talk of testing...

Thanks
