Hi Everybody,Guess what...I took my girl to see the psychiatry yesterday. He told me he was going to fill a 508 because he thinks that my girl's problem are caused by my personality. He thinks I have HDHD, biopolar disorder. He also told me that he does not believe my girl has seizure, just panic attack.He was very prompt to diagnose me, but they can not diagnose my daugther...He said that I endanger my girl's health by not going to the therapist and he was going to call the DSS to take me to court for that...He said that he talked to my girl's therapist and the school. Sure the school hates me because I filled a 508 on them because my girl was being bullied. So they told him that I cried, I yelled at them, etc, etc.By the way I have people that has witnessed my girl having seizures and also seizures activities were found on both size of the brain. It is not my imagination. She has seizure since she was born, but doctors stereotype me instead of being impartial and trying to find out if I am telling the trueth.Now they think that my daughter's seizures are just panic attack.I have seen her convulsing at night, turning blue.I have seen her dropping in the floorI have seen her staring in a fixed point and not being able to wake her up.I have see muscle spams on her.I have seen her scare, dizzy, feeling very scare, feeling a metalic taste on her mouth, feeling something smell...and then about to faint. ...Since she was on medicine for seizures she was doing fine until she reached puberty and now thatshe is having her period she get small seizures. I made an appointment with her primary care doctor to check out the medicine level and for other problems that might be causing it.I will send the records to a lawyer for review for misdiagnose and mal practice.If she is not having seizures they should take her to a hospital and taker her medicine away from her, so they can see her seizures on action or whatever is it on action.My girl goes to music lessons, to chorus, she is in day care, she has a cell phone to call me if something happens.I live alone by myself and my daugther has her own room.I take her to all her medical appointments and therapist and dentist.I am a responsible person.I work full time at the court house dealing with people's problem. If I was biopolar I will not be able to do this job, where I have to be sympathetic supportive of our lawyers that are like a family to me.About having HDHD it could be, sometimes I lose focus when I talk, but English is my second language and I have plenty to do everyday. But I do a good job looking for evidence and concentrating on tasks.I am a responsible adult, If I need medication I will ask for. I am not afraid of asking for help.Right now I am involved in the parents network support group, and advocate and I have an ICC coordinator besides this support group.I am very upset about this doctor that and I am getting a lawyer, even if I have to pay him with my credit card!! Extremely inappropriate, unprofessional and I know very disheartening for you. ((HUGS)) Do NOT listen to that. Like an earlier poster, I suggest never returning to that person. You can find people who treat you with kindness even if they have to deliver disturbing news. Also like the earlier poster, you are your child's only advocate and you have done the right thing getting him evaluated. That's what a good advocate does. So, you homeschool. Are you part of a homeschooling co-op where he gets interaction with other kids? If not, is there one around you? You can also look for social skills classes. There are lots of options for social skills other than school if you don't want to go that route. Yikes. where did you find this psychiatrist? I think it would be

unethical to diagnose someone (you) without doing an evaluation, just

based on what someone else says about you. I wondered if the school

referred you to this person? And I would not allow the school and

doctor/psychologist/psychiatrist to have a direct link to each other.

They should have to go through you. I know I would do that. I suppose

this psychiatrist would call me controlling for that. lol. oh well.
