My brother and his wife are Aspies I'm so sure... they are not diagnosed

and I sure as heck am not saying anything to them! They have a daughter

almost 5 but they are so non social that I never see them or her so I

can't tell ya if their daughter shows signs of it although I've heard

she is already starting to read so... They only live like a 1/2 hour away.

I had to drag my brother through school he was so helpless and my Mom

was useless to him except she was good at yelling at him all the time! I

defended him from bullies at school, told him what to wear, told him to

freakin shower cuz he stunk, etc. He's brilliant tho! IQ through the

roof but didn't have friends and talked soooo loud it was crazy (my

daughter does that). He flunked out of college quick... He was a year

behind me at the same U but I had 2 jobs and full schedule and just

couldn't help him. He couldn't get to class or take care of himself.

Then he had to go back home and my mom ended up having to get him up and

drive him to his job so that he could pay off the student loan money he

had gotten for that year...

I don't know if it's cuz he got married to his wife, but he is holding

down a job and a small home and their daughter is alive and well. LOL!

I'm sure they help each other although my SIL has a lot of mental and

health issues. I love him and miss him but he just doesn't need me

emotionally then or now I understand and he doesn't need me to protect

him from bullies. *sniff*
