New moderator for group

Hello everyone,

Thanks so much for your patience during the transition of this

" " group. As you may know, the original creator and

moderator of the group--Katy --passed away suddenly in early

November. She was a dear friend of mine and I was mostly a lurker on

this group but I've been a member since Katy created it.

I've agreed to moderate this group because I want to honor Katy in

some small way and helping with this group allows me to do so. At some

point in the future, I think it would be a good idea to add a

co-moderator.

Today, I have gone through the archives and deleted all the messages

that appear to be SPAM-so the archives should be clean. Further, I

have set up moderator settings to approve all messages before they get

posted and I have also set up approval for new members. In the

cleaning out of SPAM messages, I have deleted those members that sent

the SPAM.

So, the " " group is back and should now be properly

moderated. I am new to moderating a group and I'll do my best. Please

be patient with me if I make some mistakes along the way.

Now, let's get back to the great dialog that this group has shared

since its inception.

I am so sorry about your friend. It is very generous

of you to take over for her.

I'm sure that you will do fine as the moderator. I am
