Decision -making and testing for AS

WOW - my son is 22 and he does this with so many things including answering interview questions - he cannot choose an answer because he sees all the possibilities and cannot be sure which is right! I have a question...who does testing for this? We have him seeing a psychologist and a psychiatrist is prescribing meds for anxiety and depression but there doies not seem to be any talk of testing...Thanks
