Guest guest
Hi all. This is regarding my Asperger 14yo son. Does anybody have any organizational/planning IEP goals they could share with me? I'd like to see the exact wording. My son's don't feel right, but I can't quite put my finger on it. I think it would help to see some working examples. They don't have to be perfect, just something to help get me thinking. Also, for those of you whose kids have IEPs for funtioning reasons rather than academic, what role does your monitoring teacher/case manager fill? That is, what do they monitor? I'm feeling like I'm having to do all the monitoring myself. Does anybody have any BTDT, any concrete examples? I'm not sure what is reasonable to expect, as I've never worked in a school myself. I'm not giving up or anything; I think the monitoring teacher is perhaps more inexperienced with working with kids like mine than unwilling. Or maybe I am expecting too much--hope not. Any additional experiences of others that I can learn from are helpful. Thanks so much!
