Guest guest
OUR INSURANCE COMPANY TESTED AND FOUND MOLD IN MY HOME, AND THEY ARE NOT GOING TO COVER THE COST DUE TO THE FACT THAT IT WAS PRE-EXISTING. THE MAN WHO WE ARE BUYING THE HOUSE FROM IS NOT GOING TO HELP WITH THE COST EITHER, SO WE ARE GOING TO HAVE TO DO IT OURSELVES!!! IS THIS REALLY POSSIBLE???? I HAVE NOT GOT THE OFFICIAL REPORT YET WITH THE LEVELS THAT WERE FOUND BUT I DID GET A SHEET EXPLAINING WHAT WAS FOUND AND WHERE. THEY FOUND ASPERGILLUS/PENICILLIUM IN THE SHOWER STALL AND MASTER BATHROOM, CLADOSPORIUM ON THE SHEETROCK IN THE WALL OF THE MASTER BEDROOM-ADJOINING THE MASTER BATH, AMEROSPORES AND CURVULARIA ON THE AIR CONDITIONING VENT IN BEDROOM 2, AMEROSPORES AND ASPERGILLUS/PENICILLIUM IN THE AIR IN THE DEN, AMEROSPORES AND ASPERGILLUS/PENICILLIUM IN THE AIR IN THE MASTER BEDROOM, AMEROSPORES AND ASPERGILLUS/PENICILLIUM IN THE AIR IN BEDROOM 2. WATER DAMAGE WAS LOCATED IN THE MASTER BATH AND THE DEN. AND THEY SUGGESTED REMIDIATION IN THOSE AREAS. I HAVE FOUND MANY SITES ON THE CLEAN UP PROCESS, WHICH IS GOING TO TAKE TIME FOR US TO DO, DUE TO THE COST OF REPLCEMENT OF THE TEAR OUT OF WALLS AND PART OF CEILING IN THE DEN. I AM WANTING TO KNOW IF I SHOULD GO AHEAD AND DO THE TEAR OUT AND CLEAN EVERTHING UP ARE SHOULD I WAIT UNTIL I CAN AFFORD THE REPLACEMENT BEFORE I DO ANYTHING???? I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO KN0W IF I SHOULD START USING A DEHUMIDIFIER ARE AN AIR CLEANER????? I CAN'T AFFORD BOTH AND I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO KNOW WHICH WOULD BE BETTER BEFORE, DURING , AND AFTER CLEANUP SINCE THIS MOLD NEEDS TO BE HELD UNDER CONTROL. THANK YOU LIZALLISON2@...
