Guest guest
I realize that students eating alone in the cafeteria in middle, junior and/or high school can experience the worst part of their day. What creative solutions have you encountered for high functioning students who are mostly mainstreamed? I know in my school, our art teacher, whose room is next to the cafeteria, lets kids eat at the back table even if he is conducting class. I know some students eat in the guidance office or in their special ed teacher’s room. I am aware that some schools have assigned seating during lunch, but our school does not. What else has helped? Thanks for any stories you can share.
