Guest guest
Hi, thanks for all your kind messages! Nerys: How is your mum coping after the amputation? She is doing fine, but she is always thirsty, and asking for drinks. AND she is on fluid restriction due to kidney failure! That must be so hard having no lift to your floor, is there anyway you can move sooner? Unfortunately no. The flat is still being built, not fully completed yet. Let us know how she goes with the neurosurgeon on Friday. I will! How are you coping with everything?? Okay, Just feeling very tired. Got 3 assignments and a test due this week! sigh,..... You will have huge muscles by then with carrying the wheelchair up all those stairs!!LOL Oh yeah! Maybe I can take part in weightlifting contests as well? :-) I am waiting for the flat to be ready....... The apartment block is built already, just need to finish the interior and paint the outside. Should be able to move in by next year. I am sorry I can't remember , what are you studying? Good luck with those assignments, you've got a real busy week!! I am now attending a teacher training for primary/elementary school. Learning to teach English, Maths and Science. I am actually considered as an employee of the Ministry of Education even while I am attending this course, so you can say that "I am paid to study"!!! I have just finished my assignments today. Had not slept for almost 36 hours already! Glad they are done already. Now I have one week for self study before my exams the following week........ after the exams, I am FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Guest guest
Chris-sorry it's taken me a while to respond about the Sylvan Beach thing. It will be a weekly Saturday/Sunday thing for the summer months. I was approached by a jeweler who is trying to get high quality crafters together. I believe it will be an outside setting, never did think to ask since I've never been to Sylvan before. We've got each others business cards and will be in touch early next year to see if it's going to happen. Thanks! Guest guest
Hi , I think I am craving pizza too and frozen custard. My free day is Wednesday. I have felt so much like cheating this weekend, but haven't. It is the first time I have felt like this and I have completed 7 weeks. I didn't feel like working out today either. I was so tired so I took a 2 hr nap (yes, i know that is bad), and I felt rejuvenated! Now, I am up late since I took that nap. I will get back on my regular sleep schedule tomorrow. The tummy part has not been any complication compared to the thighs. My left thigh has swollen so big I can hardly walk or get one leg in front of the other. My groin area is so swollen that I have to open my legs to walk. I have a gaping hole in my thigh that was not stitched back up when they had to put a tube in it. The thighs look uneven and my hips look like they are bulging where the tummy lines meet. I never had problems with my hips!! They looked good! I sure hope this is all due to swelling and will eventually look much better. I actually had a pretty flat stomach to begin with, but just wanted the wrinkles gone. I know I would have never gone through with it had my insurance not paid. Does anyone ( in Minn. or anyone else) know how long approximately it takes for all this swelling to go down on the thighs? Is it better is sit or try to walk? Please, any advise is appreciated!!! My doctor had not been alot of help and I'm having many second thoughts....but I know it's too late. My advice (today only, LOL) is if you get to a size 6 or 4, be satisfied. There is no perfection. Thank you so much for posting for me and to Amy, Lori, and all those who called and wrote to me. You are truly angels. I love reading your post in Ark. and Rosemary. Congratulations! in Raleigh MGB 11/22/99 270/130 size 24/6 gained 9 pounds on liquids 4 days in hospital now at 139!! Guest guest
Oh you poor baby! I'm sure in Mn or some other can give you some advice on getting some relief on those thighs! said before the thighs were the WORST. Mine are ugly and I have a big ol butt between em, but for now they are just gonna have to flap! YIKES! Rest and take care and when you are all healed, I bet it's worth it all!! I cannot IMAGINE being so itty bitty like you are! It must be wonderful to be not only thin but ENVIOUSLY so. WOW what a transformation you've made! Big hugs and hurry back to yourself! in Ark 3-08 322-235 and DEFINATELY getting a tummy tuck and boob job one day! But the thighs, probably not. OUCH. I could have done without the stomach, but I've always wanted to wear a bathing suit without a skirt!! I wear a bikini now but I always wear a little wrap or skirt to hide those thighs. Now my left thigh is swollen twice as big as the right and actually ripping open. I'm afraid the scars will be worse than the skin... Hopefully as time goes by I will be much more appreciative. Dee Hi All! Just popping in to let everyone know I'm still here. I've just been really busy with the kids home for 4 days, had a show, and now trying to prep for this weekends show.
