Guest guest
Another post got me thinking, as I have been dreading asking for help with puberty issues. I have a 9.5 yr old girl. She has been diagnosed with AS, sensory issues, gross motor issues, etc. I am struggling with getting her to understand and accept the physical aspects of puberty. Her breasts are obvious (boys at school point them out to her). She hates wearing a bra, either sports bra or clasp, yet wearing a bra makes them not as obvious. She is also having menstrual cramps. She has not started her cycle yet (thankfully). I have tried talking to her about them and she does not understand nor want them. When she is having cramps she only wants to be held tight (all day and night). Any ideas will be helpful. Thanks
