I haven't. But you know I have been following s story and I feel SO bad for you guys. The gluten free diet sounds like a nightmare....Hopefully its just a chemo side effect, but don't have any experience as far as that goes. Chloes poops are nasty only during Steroid week.

had terrible diarrhea during chemo for AML. We did not know where it all came from. They told us it was a side effect of the chemo and all the extra fluids he got during treatment.

Hope you figure it out. His poor little bottom must be raw. :(

No (but was treatment was for AML). This sure sounds like celiac. bremerann <bremerann@...> wrote: My son is 3 years into treatment for ALL. My son five, just went on maintenance and had a G tube inserted after being on an NG tube for 5 months. He has had diarrhea ever since. I think its the maintenance drugs because he was getting the same feedings through the NG tube. We have had a stool sample too with negative results. is very thin and this new symptom isn't helping any. So didn't start getting diarrhea until well into maintenance? How has his counts been during maintenanace. has been on maintenance for about two months and so far it has been rough. Connie Gliott

My daughter had bouts of severe diarhea, with her it turned out to be c-diff, She tested positive at least twice during her course of treatment. I looked through her journal and other then the c-diff we struggled with constipation. hope you get results soon. ettebremerann <bremerann@...> wrote: My son is 3 years into treatment for ALL. That's the weird part about this -- it isn't acidic so his bottom isn't raw. I don't know if that's significant and keep forgetting to tell the GI specialist.

's counts have been OK during maintenance. There were a couple times when his ANC was very low for no reason, and his HGB has been on a steady decline (at 8.0 today), but for the most part they've been OK. He hasn't gained weight in about 18 months although he's gotten taller. They told me today they aren't as concerned about the lack of weight gain as they would be if he started to lose weight.

I'm sorry is having a rough time. Sometimes it takes a while to get everything regulated in maintenance. But it seems weird that his diarrhea started right after the G tube went in. Do you ever feel like a detective trying to put all the clues together and come up with ideas about what might be going on?!!! It can be exhausting!
