Guest guest
Hi,Please see my daughter's posting below. 's dad and I live in another state and can't be near Zach the entire 6-7 months of his hospitalization. But we can come down for several extended stays. Our question is, can anyone suggest when Zach's parents will most want the emotional support of our presence as well as companionship, overnight respite, go-fer errands, etc. For example, would it be more useful for us to be there at the start or end of a treatment cycle? The initial cycle or later cycles? Are there times when they would prefer to be alone with Zach without other family? Thank you.Posted by paulson@... pearl.paulson@...The information . He is scheduled to start chemo in 2 weeks. They expect him to be in the hospital for at least 6-7 mos., with a few days home between cycles of treatments. I would love to hear from others who have been down this path, and especially hear about how the first days in the hospital went for you.Thanks--
