Guest guest
Okay... can I ask, why did you remove all video game consoles? I get it to an extent but aspies love video games (myself included) and they are quite fun for us in what is often a hard time for our lives. Its hard to suggest good presents for a kid who loves video games without suggesting them. So I suppose that leads me to two questions, why did you remove the consoles, and can you try to limit it instead of eliminating it or is it past that point. Even NT kids love video games just so you know (my lil bro plays them all the time when not playing basketball or doing homework.) He is freshman in high school. I have run out of ideas of gifts to buy him. He has several shelves of Legos and would like video games. I have removed all video game consoles and will not buy any of these games for him. I weaned him off video games by buying him Scrabble video game and removed all other games. Guest guest
We love DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) on PS2. It gives him exercises along with music and is totally age appropriate. And he doesn't get addicted to it (because it can get really tiring after exercising for more than 30 minutes). It's great sensory break right after he gets home from school. One of my son's birthday " fun " wishes (for the 12th year of his life) is to have a complete collection of all the Monopoly games. I didn't realize that there were so many versions out there, and some of them can be quite expensive :-(. We just got him the 6th version for reaching certain academic & behaivor goals. Another collection he is into is chess set and chess master CD series. > > What is he into??? Does he like music??
