Guest guest
My thought was also home health as even per dium health would be a long day. If you can do a full school day at times then substitute teaching would work as you get done at the end of the school day and can chose and accept on a daily basis so have off when you need to and work when you have the time. Also at home jobs where you make your own schedule like workathomeagent.com (only reputable one I know of). Otherwise just very part time retail jobs On 3/12/10, <moien@...> wrote: > I strugglge with this as well. Luckily my current and last employers > are/were both very understanding. Guest guest
I too have struggled with this situation. I work at night at a nursing home and sleep during the day while my child is at school. I have older children and a husband who watch him while I work so I don't have to worry about childcare. It is the most absolutely exhausting schedule but with the tough economy, it is necessary. Hoping things will work out for you.Lori> I strugglge with this as well. Luckily my current and last employers> are/were both very understanding. Guest guest
I became an Avon Rep. I didn't do it for the money but its nice to get a check from them. I did it for me, I wanted a me thing where I could talk about girl stuff and not IEP's and school stuff. Since its a home base thing I have my own hours and work has hard as I want or not. It saves me time and money since I don't have to go to the store to buy the usual stuff..lotion, shampoo, conditioner, face creams, make-up, shoes, perfume, clothes, gifts whatever its all there. I just look at the brochures order online and have the stuff deliver to me for free.I also don't have to listen to my kids saying "I want this... and that..." while walking in the store. It was only $10 and its helped me emotionally. I really needed a me thing, I also started wearing make-up again and I just got a new purse. For the last 4 years instead of a purse I had been carrying a back pack with tons of stuff(my Life & problems) I love my son and our worlds goes around him its always been like that. When we decided to have a our 2nd child we planed it so that I would have the baby while he was off track and we got it right. Everything we do is on his schedule its all about him. The Avon thing really helps me since I do it a home, I still take care of my kids and I get to have something for ME. It sounds silly but having a purse its so exiting LOLMaybe some day I could go back to college. I wanted to be an astronaut, but for now this works for me . I cant even go to walmart with 2 kids and I don't see my self going to the moon any more.Catalina Valenzuela Avon Independent Sales Representative My store is open 24/7 at: www.youravon.com/catalinavalenzuela Free Shipping Code: FSANY> I strugglge with this as well. Guest guest
Catalina, I really connected with your analogy with the backpack vs. purse. I also used to carry a backpack-type purse because I had to have both hands free to deal with my son (not to mention having to have room to carry all the stuff I couldn't carry in my hands) who was quite a handful (had an ADHD "Scrapbooking is a wonderful way of celebrating what I have, dreaming of what could be and healing, while coming to terms with what might never be." --Mou Saha> I strugglge with this as well.
