Guest guest Posted September 8, 2010 Report Share Posted September 8, 2010 Hi all - We are considering starting our 3 year old son on melatonin to help him sleep, both at naptime and bedtime. He just turned 3 and weighs a little over 30 lbs. I was wondering what the appropriate starting dose would be for a little guy? Do you give it at naptime also, or just bedtime? He has a quiet time every afternoon, but he rarely sleeps during it, even when utterly exhausted. At bedtime, no matter how tired he is, he gets back out of bed and plays after we put him to bed.
