Guest guest
Hi Isabel, My son is now 22 and currently going through a major meltdown. Just this weekend he got angry over a TV show about a pregnant woman on Meth. He just flipped, threw the TV remote and broke it, my younger boy put it back together. He then proceeded to get a beer after drinking vodka, earlier in the day, my youngest told him, he didn't think having a beer was a good idea, my oldest son flipped yet again, took his shirt off and taunted his younger brother to hit him. He finally calm down but wow. Anyway, this was brought on by his poor grades at college. If I were you I would start your son on Omega-3 ASAP. Also, be careful when it comes to hiring educational consultants. We hired a woman in Oregon, Dore Frances, as we were so desperate to help our youngest son. A nightmare ensued. She suggested a wilderness camp and then an alternative school in Colorado. The whole thing was a mess and cost a lot of money. The things I have learned. Anyway, good luck and best wishes. Take care and no worries Shell > > Hello from an overwhelmed mother > My eldest son (10yrs old) was diagnosed by a school district psychologist with Aspergers this year and it has been a great validation and a crazy overwhelming feeling at the same time. > I feel just as lost as before but now I have a name for it! > I'm trying to read back posts on here and see what I can learn. > I have many worries and mostly I just don't know where to go from here. I would also love any ideas on how to deal with the odd behaviors our children exhibit. > Do any of you have problems when your child is watching TV? Do they act out or loose control? React very loudly or overly happy (seems silly to be worried about too much happiness but I'm sure you guys will understand) > Thank you for taking the time share your experiences and help support others > Merry Christmas! > > Isabel >
